After the successful completion of North Macedonia’s 1st breast microwave ablation case, performed by Dr. Slavica Chalcheska in February, we’re proud to now share the country’s 1st thyroid microwave ablation case!
This procedure was successfully performed by Dr. Filip Risteski and Dr. Ivona Jovanoska — thank you for your expertise and dedication to advancing minimally invasive care.
Special thanks to ECO long-time friend Prof. Bülent Çekiç from Türkiye for his on-site support. With over 6,000 thermal ablation cases, his experience was invaluable to this success.
