R&D Backroungs
- Microwave ablation operation requires guidance of imaging equipment
- The antenna puncture and ablation process cannot be monitored in real time, though CT guided images are clear
- Under the guidance of B-ultrasound, the probe puncture and ablation status can be displayed in real time, but due to the influence of tissue vaporization, the image boundary is relatively blurred
With clear imaging and real-time monitoring of ablation effects
- The system was developed by our R&D department in collaborationwith the University of Houston and Beihang University, and wasfinalized by the end of 2020 after 8 years of continuous research.
Three-dimensional intelligent microwave ablation system promotes the standardization. Standardization and precision of microwave ablation surgery and reduces the threshold of surgical experience through tumor area intelligence, tumor three-dimensional reconstruction and segmentation, ablation plan assisted design, and immediate postoperative effect evaluation.
It improves the rate of complete ablation of liver tumors, shortens ablation time, reduces ablation energy, and has a lower complication rate, significantly reduces liver function damage, and has significant therapeutic effects.
